Amruta trained in bioengineering at New York University, where she built and analyzed human iPSC-derived sensory neuron systems and neuron-immune co-cultures for studies of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy.
In the Quantitative Imaging Group, she develops methods for human skin biopsy analysis, including multiplex immunostaining and quantification of intraepidermal nerve fibers and neuroimmune markers. Before joining the Group, she worked at Enceladus Bio on RNA CRISPR editing platforms and NGS-based quality control.
Welcome to the Group, Amruta.
